Short “Taster Tour”.

The short “Taster Tour” on the “Churchill” Red Arrow is the perfect introduction to the nostalgic world of Swiss rail for you and your guests or staff.

Get a taste of railway history on the tour in the “Churchill” Red Arrow. You leave the city of Zurich through the Limmat valley. Passing through Baden and the “moated castle of Switzerland” (Turgi), you reach Brugg AG before climbing up the Bözberg to the south portal of the new Bözberg tunnel.

Following a change of direction, the route heads back down the Bözberg to Brugg AG. However, you leave the station on your left and travel over the connecting bridge, past the SBB Historic depot. You then find yourself on the Brugg–Lenzburg line, on which you continue to Othmarsingen.

The direction of travel then changes again, heading towards the Heitersberg tunnel. Just before the tunnel, you turn left onto a secondary line that is no longer used by passenger trains. Via Dättwil and Baden Oberstadt you finally return to the Limmat valley – the last section of the route before returning to Zurich.
