The SwissPass is your key to mobility. Your travelcards, such as the GA Travelcard or Half Fare Travelcard, are referenced on the SwissPass card. The SwissPass is equipped with modern technology (RFID chip) and gives you access to partner services such as Mobility Carsharing, PubliBike, SchweizMobil, Ticketcorner, Europcar, Hotelcard, as well as to ski resorts and Snow’n’Rail offers. 

The SwissPass login is your personal key to access public transport offers. You can use the same login for both private and business purposes.

For each purchase, you will be able to choose whether to purchase and pay for your ticket as a private or business customer. Tickets for business purposes will be sent straight to your company e-mail address. 

On swisspass.ch, you can also see an overview of your SwissPass services (both personal and business), amend your personal details or activate numerous partner services.

If you buy a public transport travelcard which can be held on a SwissPass, you will automatically receive the SwissPass card. You can also get the SwissPass for free without a travelcard from public transport points of sale, meaning you can then benefit from our partner services. In order to obtain your SwissPass, please bring a valid ID card (or other official identity document) and a recent passport photograph with you. 

If you log into the SBB Mobile app, you can access your SwissPass under ‘Tickets & SwissPass’ and present it to the train crew.

However, in case of unforeseen events (phone out of battery or a damaged screen), we recommend that you keep your SwissPass on you even when using SwissPass Mobile.

Please also note that you must always show your SwissPass card for international journeys.

Order a new SwissPass card online. If your card has a technical defect, we will replace it free of charge. If you need a new card because you have changed your name, lost your previous card, damaged your card yourself or need to replace an out-of-date picture, you will have to pay the CHF 30 fee yourself. Alternatively, you can purchase the replacement card at a staffed counter. 

Please note that the replacement card must be paid for privately and cannot be charged to the company contract.

Yes. A privately held travelcard can be refunded on a pro rata basis when an identical or higher value travelcard is purchased through the company contract. Once the company travelcard has been purchased, go to your nearest railway ticket counter to have your private travelcard refunded. Following the purchase of a travelcard via the company contract, please go to the nearest ticket counter for assistance.

No, your employer does not have access to your private data or services. Employers can only see services financed by them.

Protecting your privacy is a major concern for us as public transport companies. We respect your identity and privacy and ensure that they are protected and that your personal data is processed in accordance with the applicable laws.

• No personal data or services are stored on your SwissPass – they are only referenced there.
• Swiss transport companies cannot locate your SwissPass or use it to track your movements.
• Data that is generated when your SwissPass is inspected on the train is immediately deleted once the inspection is complete. Inspection data is therefore not processed.
• Unauthorised individuals do not have access to your details.
• If another person or your company pays for your travelcards or partner services, they have access to the services they have paid for but not to any other details.
