Purchase of a new annual travelcard (except Half Fare Travelcard).

BonusPass annual travelcard.

Your current annual travelcard will be refunded pro rata from the 1st day of validity of the new travelcard. The refund amount corresponds to the purchase price minus the value of the number of days elapsed.

BonusPass Flex.

Your Flex travelcard will be refunded pro rata from the 1st day of validity of the new travelcard. The amount refunded corresponds to the purchase price minus the value of the activated and used days. If any days are still activated after the 1st day of validity of the new travelcard, deactivate them in the ZVV app, otherwise they will be charged as used.

BonusPass annual travelcard no longer needed.

For each elapsed month of the BonusPass annual travelcard, 1/9 of the purchase price will be charged (percentage calculation with rounding up to whole percentages, refund amount is rounded down to the nearest CHF). A BonusPass annual travelcard can be refunded up to the end of the eighth month. No refunds will be made after the ninth month of validity. Only whole months are reimbursed, not individual days. A month of validity which has started counts as a whole month from the first day.

BonusPass Flex no longer required.

For each BonusPass Flex day used, 1/75 of the purchase price is charged. No refund will be made from the 75th day of use onwards. The days of validity which have been activated for the future remain valid even after the cancellation of your travelcard. We recommend that you deactivate them in your ZVV app in order to receive an optimal refund. Days of validity which are not deactivated are calculated as days used.

Inability to travel.

Refunds will be made on the basis of a medical certificate confirming inability to travel. Proof of inability to work is not sufficient.

BonusPass annual travelcard.

In the event of medically confirmed inability to travel (not inability to work), the annual travelcard will be refunded pro rata from the first day of inability to travel. Once the period of inability to travel has ended, a new travelcard must be applied for.

BonusPass Flex.

No reimbursement will be granted even in cases of medically certified inability to travel (not inability to work). Days of travel which have already been activated must be deactivated for the duration of the period of inability to travel.
